God is at Work

What a month... I thought last month was "full," but God is NOT FINISHED with us yet!

Issues we're facing:

On May 6, 2007, I was getting depressed and overwhelmed. So much facing us. I listed (for myself) all the "issues" facing us. Here's a brief summary:

Tom's health issues alone would be enough to worry the average person. His uncontrolled jerks keep him awake, but the "jerk medicine" has been recalled and its substitute is really inadequate; his sleep apnea makes sure that the sleep he does squeeze in is not restorative; therefore, he falls asleep while sitting, reading, talking, eating and even walking! He was treated in an ER in Indianapolis in March for a kidney stone; the good news is that it apparently passed while he was under the morphine that day! Yea GOD! His replaced-in-October hip has "popped out" three times this year and not even while doing anything strenuous or "dangerous." And then... there was May - but we'll get on to that in a moment...

Then there are the "house issues." I've wanted a larger home for years, but last month's time in a huge rambling three-bedroom home let me know our cozy cottage has advantages. Still, it is a ten-year-old, cheaply constructed mobile home and its problems are increasing with time. From little things to major, repairing or replacing would involve major effort and/or expenditure.

The publishing issues loom in front of us. Some of the many products I've developed continue to be published and distributed by JoyceHerzog.com, but many others are waiting for a publisher or combination of publishers. In the midst of the "season" and other issues, I am trying to keep my head together and continue working on several projects.

There are other things, but you get the idea...
