Joyce Herzog is a gifted teacher bursting with creativity and joy, and she desires to serve God by ministering to children and those who lead and teach them. Joyce has a passion for educating the next generation in ways that draw out their God-given talents and creativity. Joyce's personal counseling, lectures, and books have helped people all over the world find new perspectives on their children and their educational plans. Her presentations respect their uniqueness and offer fresh user-friendly ways of loving, educating, and training your children.

The night she met her husband, he said she should be "teaching teachers." God's version of that vision has Joyce teaching parents who homeschool their children.

Joyce Herzog has been developing educational materials for more than two decades. She is the creator of The Scaredy Cat Reading System and author of more than 10 books, including Choosing & Using Curriculum, History in His Hands, and Learning in Spite of Labels. She has developed uniquely helpful teaching tools such as School in a Box, Mental Fitness Cards and Single Serve Recipes. Joyce was a classroom educator for 25 years, working with struggling learners and their teachers and parents. She holds a bachelor's degree in education and a master's in learning disabilities. She holds a Permanent Professional Certificate to teach in the state of Iowa. Joyce and her husband, Tom, live in Chattanooga, Tennessee with their two little dogs, Perky and Buddy (Perky's Itty Bitty Buddy).
