Tom is still in the brace. He will be for a year – or a lifetime, depending on who you ask. It does help him remember his limitations. HE tried driving a bit this week. It went okay, but he still tires easily. We are grateful for every step.

My writing has been mostly on hold as we pack and deal with Tom’s health. His getting back to driving will be a help to me. I did prepare a grammar package for a family at church to peruse and possibly use with four of their children. I was impressed all over again with the quality of the content and the presentation. BUT we still do not have a publisher who will work with us. I know God’s timing is perfect and am quite content to wait on Him. He’s been keeping me plenty busy at the moment, so I am not sitting around worrying. I AM praying for the current publisher of Scaredy Cat and a few other of my products and looking for God to supply a publisher – or at least an agent to sell – our products in the future.

Tom is not yet swimming and it has been recommended that he not travel for at least a year – so we’ll see how much speaking I will be doing – but I will be doing at least some even if I have to travel alone.

So. Here we are. Months from the last hip problem! YEA! Weeks from the move. Through the horrendous heat/drought (we hope!). Enjoying the privileges of swimming and running to get more boxes or whatever. Preparing for next “season.” Trusting that God still has us in His LOVING Hands Ready for WHATEVER He has for us.
